A rapidly expanding tour operator, part of a major international group, is extending its operations in Romania and is looking for a professional to lay the foundations of the Product Department. This is a unique opportunity to build and manage product strategies from the ground up in a dynamic, international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and implement the product strategy and portfolio of travel packages (tours, excursions, accommodation, transportation).
Develop flight programs (charters) in collaboration with local and international teams.
Analyze the market and competition to identify new opportunities and destinations.
Support the contracting team with price benchmarking and hotel portfolio diversification.
Collaborate closely with Revenue, Aviation, Operations, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure optimal product delivery.
Monitor product performance (occupancy, margins, customer satisfaction) and adjust accordingly.
Develop dynamic packages (including low-cost airlines and bed banks) and explore new sales channels.
Provide regular reporting to the CEO.
Requirements:
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in the travel industry, of which 4–5 years in product management or a similar role.
Strategic thinking and strong knowledge of pricing, contracts, and yield management.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and supplier relationship skills.
Hands-on experience with booking systems and dynamic packaging.
Advanced English level.
