One of the leading international players in the travel industry is expanding its Bucharest office, and we’re excited to support the growth by bringing new roles to the Romanian tourism scene. This is a great opportunity to join a global team and gain exposure to international operations.
We are looking for a Transportation Executive to ensure the seamless coordination of all transport-related services across the EMEA region.
The role involves securing availability, negotiating competitive rates and conditions, and maintaining top-quality standards for all travel operations.
You will collaborate closely with suppliers and internal departments to deliver excellence, accuracy, and efficiency in every aspect of transportation management.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate all transport requirements for group operations within the EMEA region.
Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions for transport services, ensuring the best value.
Monitor the quality and reliability of transport providers, including coach services and drivers.
Manage and resolve operational issues and on-the-road emergencies in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
Support smooth execution of contracts and allocations in partnership with Transport, Operations, Product, and Finance teams.
Maintain clear communication and follow departmental guidelines to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in operations or transportation management within the travel or logistics sector.
Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office 365, Teams, Google Drive, and Airtable.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); Italian or French are a strong advantage.
Service-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to fast-changing priorities.
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setup.
